Your role as a SAP FICO Consultant at Magna requires a blend of analytical prowess, technical expertise, and a strong work ethic. You will be a vital part of the Global IT team, responsible for implementing and providing round-the-clock support for FICO (Finance and Controlling) systems, particularly in the Americas region. Collaborating with users, conducting workshops, devising optimal solutions, and spearheading FICO enhancement projects are key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business requirements and identify gaps in existing systems. - Propose and implement SAP-based solutions to address business needs. - Deliver day-to-day support for SAP end-users, including month-end closing activities. - Conduct user training sessions and share functional/technical knowledge. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success. - Adhere to Magna Global IT standards for time tracking, documentation, and project billing. - Design and implement technical solutions aligning with business requirements and industry best practices. Performance Metrics: - Ensure project management adherence to timelines, quality, and budget. - Fulfill SLAs with divisions and minimize escalations. - Allocate at least 30% of time to project-related activities. - Support new SAP implementations effectively. Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - Proficient in English, both written and verbal. - Over 5 years of experience in SAP FICO roles. - Strong understanding of finance and controlling concepts. - Knowledge of finance accounting submodules and data migration methodologies. - Expertise in configuring and supporting FICO modules in SAP. - Familiarity with FICO integration with other SAP modules. - Skills in ABAP debugging, Project Systems, and Business Warehouse are advantageous. - Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
