As a Proposal Engineer for Analyzer Projects, you will play a crucial role in our rapidly growing analyser system business. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the proposal process, ensure timely submission of proposals, and select the most suitable analyser technique for various applications based on their criticality. You will need to have a solid grasp of the application's requirements, prepare costings, and compile proposal documentation in compliance with technical and commercial aspects. Key Responsibilities: - Review tender/enquiry documents to analyze client requirements and prepare costings based on the approved vendor list or sourced from proven vendors. - Respond promptly to technical/commercial queries raised by clients during offer evaluation and compile complete proposal documentation for submission within tender deadlines. - Select the appropriate analyser technique (such as GC, Laser-based analyser, CEMS, 3rd party analysers) and design sampling systems based on supportive calculations for offer preparation. - Identify and select the right 3rd party analyser for solution package offerings, ensuring cost optimization and competitive pricing. - Demonstrate knowledge of safety applications, emission monitoring, AAQMS, and measurements like SO2, Nox, CO, Mercury, Chlorine, Paramagnetic O2, Moisture, CPCB connectivity, and related products. - Review purchase orders upon contract award, highlighting any contradictions with agreed technical and commercial terms to the client. - Hand over technically and commercially cleared purchase orders along with supportive proposal documents to the Engineering team for project execution through internal kick-off meetings. - Exhibit skills in time management, collaboration, coordination, bid management, communication, vendor management, and building new partnerships.
