Role Summary The Country Manager will oversee the entire sales, marketing, and business operations for BOPP, Polyester, and specialty films across all zones within the country. The role entails developing and executing national strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and market share objectives. The Country Manager will provide strategic leadership to zonal sales heads, build strong customer relationships, drive new business opportunities, and ensure sustainable growth through operational excellence and innovation. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Business Planning • Develop and implement the national sales strategy for films (BOPP, Polyester, specialty grades) aligned with company objectives. • Define and monitor annual business plans, sales budgets, and profitability targets for all zones. • Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities, pricing trends, and competitive dynamics. • Lead long-term strategic initiatives such as product diversification, new applications, and customer value programs. • Drive alignment between production, logistics, and market demand to optimize inventory and service levels. 2. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing business for polymer films (BOPP / Polyester) , key account management, and customer relationship building among film converters, textile manufacturers, and packaging clients. This is a front-line position requiring strong local network knowledge, a good understanding of the films or yarns industry, and the ability to deliver consistent sales growth in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for films . • Develop new business opportunities with textile mills, converters, traders, and industrial end-users. • Expand sales of BOPP / PET films, yarns, and specialty grades through consistent field visits and relationship building. • Conduct regular market surveys to identify potential customers, price trends, and competitor movements. • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts within approved company limits. 2. Customer Management • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty. • Act as the primary contact for customers in the western region for orders, dispatches, and service issues. • Coordinate with technical and quality teams for sample trials, product approvals, and complaint resolutions. • Promote new film or yarn grades and assist customers in testing and product conversion. 3. Qualifications & Experience • Graduate in Commerce / Science / Engineering; MBA preferred. • 510 years of sales experience in the films, yarns, or polymer industry (preferred BOPP, Polyester, or industrial yarns). • Strong understanding of the west zone market — especially packaging, textiles, and related industries. • Established customer relationships with film converters, textile units, or yarn processors will be an advantage. • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP / CRM tools, and basic reporting. • Excellent communication in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. • Willing to travel within Gujarat and neighboring states.
