About Us: A1 Bazaar is East India’s emerging value fashion destination, offering trendy, affordable apparel, accessories, beauty, luggage, and more for the entire family. We are building the next-generation chain of large-format, value-driven stores with a focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Senior Buying & Purchase Merchandiser across Men's, Women's, Kids, and General/Home categories with strong experience in value fashion retail. The ideal candidate should have a sharp sense of customer needs, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to build a profitable and trend-right merchandise assortment. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end buying & purchasing for assigned category (Men's / Women's / Kids / General & Home). • Develop seasonal and monthly merchandise buying plans across categories. • Identify and source from stock-lot, surplus, and private label vendors across India. • Negotiate pricing, margins, and delivery timelines to maximize profitability. • Analyze consumer trends, fast-moving styles, and competitor offerings. • Manage the purchase order cycle, stock turnover, and replenishment planning. • Collaborate closely with operations and marketing teams to support product launches and promotions. • Vendor development: Continuously build a strong base of reliable, quality-driven suppliers and vendor network. • Ensure optimal category mix, price points (₹99–₹999), and margin maintenance. Qualifications: • 5-7 years of experience in buying and merchandising for value fashion brands. • Strong vendor network in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Tirupur, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Jaipur, and Surat preferred. • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and category management skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing startup environment. • Good knowledge of private label development will be a plus.
