Job Description: We are looking for an Accountant to manage and oversee financial aspects of our rice company. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-versed in financial principles, and have a deep understanding of accounting processes and regulations in the food industry. Job Responsibilities: 1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, including ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions. 2. Budget Management: Assist in the creation, monitoring, and management of the company's financial budgets to ensure adherence to financial goals and objectives. 3. Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and provide insights into cost control measures, revenue enhancement opportunities, and overall financial performance. 4. Month-End and Year-End Closing: Prepare and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation, adjusting entries, and financial statement preparation. 5. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and file accurate and timely tax returns. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations. 6. Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute financial statements, reports, and other financial documents to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. 7. Inventory Management: Monitor and reconcile inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and valuation of rice products in stock. 8. Cost Analysis: Analyze the cost structure of the rice production process and recommend cost-saving measures when necessary. 9. Auditing: Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules. 10. Payroll Processing: Administer payroll, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations and deductions, and compliance with labor laws. 11. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage company cash flows to ensure liquidity for daily operations and investments. 12. Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and company policies, and implement internal controls where necessary. 13. Financial Software: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools to maintain accurate financial records and streamline processes. 14. Vendor and Customer Relations: Work with vendors and customers to address financial inquiries, resolve issues, and manage payment transactions. Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong experience in handling end-to-end accounts for a manufacturing and export-oriented FMCG company. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in liaising with banks and institutions, have deep knowledge of GST compliance, and be comfortable handling e-commerce accounts. Job Responsibilities: Maintain and manage all accounting records, including journal entries, ledgers, and financial statements. Handle liaisoning with banks , auditors, and financial institutions for statutory audits, working capital, and other finance-related matters. Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns , reconciliation, and compliance as per latest norms. Manage e-commerce platform accounts – including reconciliation of sales, returns, and payment settlements on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit , etc. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal review and external audit. Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flows on a regular basis. Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants on taxation, statutory filings, and MIS reports. Support export documentation and forex transactions in coordination with the export team. Implement best practices in financial control, budgeting, and cost optimization.
