Key Skills & Competencies Knowledge of construction/engineering materials. Basic understanding of purchase processes & vendor management. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good command over MS Office (Excel, Word, Email correspondence). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Problem-solving and analytical mindset. Key Responsibilities Identify and source materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements. Float inquiries, obtain quotations, and prepare comparative statements. Negotiate with vendors to achieve cost effectiveness without compromising quality. Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for timely material requirements. Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships. Ensure proper documentation of purchase activities and compliance with company policies. Monitor inventory levels and follow up for pending deliveries. Assist in vendor evaluation and performance review. Preferred Background Candidates with prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering procurement will be preferred.
