Job Description Senior Quality Engineer - Warranty analysis is a technical role where in the main task is to perform the technical analysis of customer returned product (0KM or field) and identify the reason for failure. The person in this role will have frequent technical interactions with development department and lead plant during analysis of returned product. Regular -Should coordinate with QRE(Quality Resident Engineers) and SQW (Sales Quality and Warranty) teams to understand the customer complaint in detail and to get the parts to plant for analysis. -Responsible for performing technical analysis of customer returned parts and identify the cause of product failure. -Should coordinate with PQA (Plant Quality Assurance) team to close loop any complaints originating from suppliers. -Update the analysis report in SAP as per internal guidelines. -Responsible for interacting with OEMs to explain the analysis performed in case of any clarifications from customer. Periodic - Responsible for performing vehicle level joint investigation at customer premises along with development department for repeated and complicated complaints. - Responsible for performing PHA (Part Handling Analysis) at customer location during launch of the product or in case of repeat customer complaints. Qualifications BE (EEE / E&C) with 2-3 years of experience. EV knowledge is preferable. Additional Information Technical -Should have knowledge on Automotive electronic components & very good understanding on schematics - Should have good knowledge on testers and other PCB board level analysis tools - Should have knowledge on 8D systematics & Knowledge on DOE - Should have basic knowledge of different vehicle systems - Preferable to have good knowledge on Electric Vehicles and systems (2W,3W & 4W) Behavioral - Responds promptly to customer requestsis easy to reach and work with during work hours - Proactively incorporates user/ customer feedback to improve deliverables - Regularly interacts with the customer at appropriate levels -Monitors and ensures prompt response to customer concerns -Demonstrates basic functional knowledge and applies it skilfully -Breaks problems into component parts and identifies basic causal links -Uses ways of working and lessons learned from other functional areas - Works effectively with others and openly shares expertise and resources to deliver results - Displays openness to confrontation and difficult conversations - Convincingly presents own ideas and concepts to different target audiences - Listens actively in order to understand other people's perspectives -Is receptive to others inputs and constructively provides feedback to peers and superiors -Understands individual objectives and pushes self to achieve and go beyond defined targets
