Job Description The selected candidate should be a Graduate Engineer or BSc / MSc with 10 to 15 years of experience in Quality. There are a total of 3 vacancies. 2 Vacancies are for Quality Manager ( 1 in Pune and 1 in Bengaluru ) 1 vacancy is for Senior Manager Quality ( 1 in Chakan , Pune ) The selected candidate should have work experience of Inward , in-process and outward quality. He should be experienced in developing new forms and formats and procedures for continuous improvement of the Quality system. To develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management Systems of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 , ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 13486 etc. this means that the candidate has to organise internal audits, maintain quality records, and handle all certification and surveillance audits. Handling of customer complaints, training of juniors from the basic level is also the responsibility of the selected candidate. Handling customer audits, submitting corrective actions for quality issues and closing the open audit findings of the Customer audit team is also the responsibility. Job Overview: Electrica Engineers Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Quality Department . A strong background in the Automotive Lighting industry and Quality Management Systems is required. The ideal candidate will improve Quality Assurance policies , Develop Product and Process Guidelines , and ensure Operational Efficiency . Key responsibilities include managing Customer complaints , handling Audits , driving Continuous Improvement , and maintaining Compliance with Industry standards . Key Responsibilities : Process and Product Quality Management: Collaborate with relevant departments (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.) to establish and maintain quality standards for both processes and products. Define acceptable quality metrics aligned with customer requirements, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) like PPM and defect rates. Quality Result Indicators Accountability: Achieve and monitor quality targets such as customer PPM, zero repetitive quality concerns, and eliminate customer line stoppages due to quality issues. Regularly report on quality performance and implement corrective actions as necessary. Compliance with IATF16949 Quality Management System: Ensure adherence to the IATF16949 standard, providing support for audits and maintaining system documentation to guarantee compliance. Customer Complaint Management: Analyze and resolve customer complaints using the 8D methodology, ensuring effective communication with customers and follow-through on corrective actions. PPAP Documentation: Prepare and review necessary documentation for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Including Layout Reports, SPC, MSA, and Checking Aids, ensuring Customer and Regulatory Compliance. Rejection Data Analysis: Collect and analyze monthly rejection data, using quality tools (e.g., Pareto analysis, Fishbone diagrams) to identify process failures and implement corrective measures. Scorecard Performance Analysis: Perform detailed cause analysis of scorecard results, develop action plans, and implement corrective measures to improve performance and meet quality targets. Regulatory Compliance (Customer Standards): Ensure compliance with customer-specific standards and regulatory requirements such as IMDS, ROHS, ELV, REACH, Thermal Cycle, Identification Marking, and Flammability. Warranty Data and Trend Analysis: Analyze warranty data to identify new potential issues, follow up on 3MIS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root causes. Use of Quality Tools: Utilize advanced quality management tools and techniques such as SPC, PPAP, Control Plans, FMEA, Poka-Yoke, 7 QC Tools, MSA, and others to monitor and improve quality performance. Desired Qualifications : Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronics & Telecommunications (E&TC), Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 14 -20 years of experience in the Automotive or related Engineering Industry. Proven experience handling Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as TATA Motors , SAVW , Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) , Bajaj Auto , Piaggio , Nissan , Stellantis , or similar.
