As an experienced and innovative R&D Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design, prototyping, and development of next-generation audio visual electronic products such as audio devices, camera systems, and communication controllers. Your role will involve bridging advanced electronics design, embedded systems development, and product commercialization while maintaining a strong emphasis on innovation, quality, and time-to-market. You will lead and manage the R&D team, overseeing activities related to the design, prototyping, testing, and validation of AV-related electronic products. It will be your responsibility to manage the entire product lifecycle, from schematic design and component selection to firmware integration and production bring-up. Additionally, you will design and review analog/digital circuits, microcontroller-based systems, DSP implementations, and signal processing applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including firmware, mechanical design, testing, and manufacturing, will be essential for system-level integration. You will also evaluate, advise, and select OEMs/vendors for product development and component sourcing. Managing documentation, compliance, and certification processes (CE, FCC, RoHS, BIS, etc.) will be a key aspect of your role. Feasibility studies, benchmarking, and proof-of-concept development for new product ideas will be part of your responsibilities. Keeping abreast of emerging trends in IoT, embedded platforms, audio-video transmission, and interface protocols will also be crucial. Your technical skillset should include strong experience with 8/16/32-bit Microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, AVR, etc.) and embedded peripheral integration. Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and experience in embedded firmware development on Windows and/or Linux environments will be required. A deep understanding of DSP fundamentals, including filtering, encoding, and compression relevant to audio and video signals, is essential. Knowledge of camera modules, microphone arrays, audio codecs, and video firmware will be beneficial. Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, HDMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet is necessary. Expertise in tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and soldering/debugging hardware is also expected. Hands-on experience in Schematic Design and PCB Layout Review using tools like Altium, KiCAD, Eagle, etc., will be advantageous. Prior experience in IoT device development is considered a plus.,
