You will be responsible for software architecture and design for WLAN features in firmware, as well as the development, release, and maintenance of WLAN firmware. Collaboration with peer teams to define software interfaces will also be a key aspect of your role. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in Software Engineering. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience or a PhD with 1+ year of experience in the same field will also be considered. You should have 2+ years of academic or work experience in Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Additionally, 5-9 years of experience in designing and implementing embedded software/firmware for networking/wireless products is required. Expertise in C programming and experience with the 802.11 protocol are preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, along with a solid architectural skillset to design and implement for performance, modularity, and portability. Excellent team communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary for effective collaboration within the team.
