Role & responsibilities: Maintaining continuous patient monitoring and assessment, operating and managing complex life-support equipment, and administering critical medications and treatments and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Preferred candidate profile: Patient monitoring and assessment: Continuously monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate), assess patient condition, and identify changes. Medical treatment: Administer medications, treatments, and interventions accurately and on time. This can include starting IVs and managing multiple drips. Equipment management: Operate and troubleshoot life-support equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors. Emergency response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and perform life-saving interventions. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and observations. Communication: Provide updates to doctors, patients, and their families, and offer emotional support to both. Essential skills and qualifications Education: A nursing degree (BSC or GNM) and an active Registered Nurse (RN) license are required. Technical proficiency: Skill in using advanced medical equipment and performing specialized procedures. Emotional resilience: The capacity to handle stressful situations and provide support to patients during challenging times.
