Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for doing preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and utilities as per predefined schedule. Coordinate with production team in case of abnormalities in the operations of Utilities and machines. To maintain maintence log book and daily inspection check list sheet for all machines and utilities and ancillary equipments as per plan. To ensure proper start up and shut down of Utilities and ancillary equipment’s as per plan. Responsible for proper and safe house keeping in utility area. To keep proper accountability of uses of spares and it location with quantity and record the same for monthly cost analysis. To help co –worker to understand the works done in the shift and update with pending works to be done in the shift operation. Ensure to handover the machines and ancillary equipment’s to Production team with brief discussion and understanding. Create a work atmosphere for safety and productivity with all team members. Ensure proper use of manpower while working with them. Suggest improvements in machine and utilities as and when required with proper discussion with line manager. Always try to repair the damaged parts instead of purchasing new spares whenever possible. Other guide lines as given by Line manager.
