The responsibilities of the role include assessing the performance of the plant with respect to various parameters such as management organization, process efficiency, equipment adequacy, maintenance, quality, etc. Collaborating with plant management to identify and prioritize key areas for improvement. Developing and coordinating action plans to address the identified priorities. Leading and facilitating Kaizen/Lean and 5S workshops. The role involves active participation in agreed-upon actions, training team members in lean techniques, ensuring successful implementation of action plans, evaluating the effectiveness of implemented processes, ensuring inclusion of EHS procedures, monitoring and driving work group results, sharing best practices with OPEX teams, reporting progress and resource requirements to the plant manager, and adherence to safety rules within the plant. The ideal candidate should possess a B.E/B.Tech degree in Chemical, Ceramic, Production, or Industrial Engineering, a Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent Lean certification, and have 5-8 years of experience in an industrial setting related to continuous processes like steel, cement, refractories, etc. They should have a strong technical background enabling comprehensive understanding of industrial operations, field production experience, ability to lead diverse teams, and expertise in lean production, production system design principles, and application of lean methods for process improvements.,
