You will be responsible for overseeing the store management activities at a reputed mechanical engineering industry in Hyderabad, specializing in aerospace/defence manufacturing. With 10-15 years of experience in the field, you will be expected to handle various aspects such as purchase, material management, and store operations. This will include planning, negotiating techno-commercial aspects, dealing with excise agencies, managing imports of machinery and consumables, sourcing from alternative suppliers, handling EXIM operations, customs clearance, and documentation for shipping. Proficiency in SAP, inventory monitoring, ABC analysis, scrap disposal, implementing 5S kaizen principles, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards will be essential. The ideal candidate should hold a graduate or diploma degree with a PG diploma in Material Management, along with 15-20 years of experience in the engineering/aerospace/defence ancillaries sector. Flexibility in terms can be considered based on mutual agreement if the applicant is deemed suitable for the role. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. A bachelor's degree is preferred for this role, and a total of 10 years of work experience, including 10 years in a management capacity, is preferred.
