As a Documentation Specialist in the press shop, your primary responsibility will be to handle all types of documentation including Precheck sheets, in-process QA reports, and more. You will be required to plan production activities based on the schedule provided by the PPC department. Additionally, you will oversee the procurement of raw materials in accordance with our production planning. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization (5S) within the press shop will be crucial to ensure smooth operations. You will also be responsible for calculating Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) monthly and analyzing any production issues that may affect machine availability. Collaborating closely with the tool room team, you will work towards the elimination of press tool problems to enhance machine efficiency. Introducing new methodologies such as Kaizens and Poka Yoke will be part of your continuous improvement initiatives. Furthermore, scheduling and overseeing preventive maintenance activities will be essential to uphold the operational efficiency of the equipment.
