As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world-class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces. As a member of QCT's Customer Engineering group, the candidate will be responsible for the commercialization of QCT products. You will work closely with customers to analyze, debug, and resolve issues. Conduct in-depth analysis of failures and experiment to improve the quality of QC's products. Working with a multi-discipline team (Software Development, HW Design, System Design, etc.) to commercialize QCT products. This engineering position provides an opportunity to work closely with leading wireless operators, infrastructure vendors, and R&D Teams on cutting-edge wireless technologies such as 5G Sub6, 5G mmW, Licensed band Radio (LBR)-mmW, and Un-licensed Band Radio (UBR), etc. Responsibilities include 5G/LBR-mmW systems performance characterization and optimization, debugging support, demos, and over the air (OTA) field trials of new features. The candidate should be able to provide onsite support to mobile operators to help roll out and enhance their 5G/LBR-mmW networks. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - 5+ years of experience with customer support and debugging techniques. - Strong protocol knowledge in 5G-Sub6, 5G-mMW, LBR-mmW, UBR, Wifi6, Wifi7 with excellent log analysis skills and software code design/debugging skill for root causing complex issue is mandatory. - Strong knowledge of data protocols, TCP/IP Networking protocols, Ipv4, IPV6, etc., are desired. - Programming skills in C/C++/Perl/Python/MATLAB and proven programming project experience using these is a strong plus.,
