For this position, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field along with 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience or a PhD with 1+ year of experience in the same field will also be considered. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience. Additionally, expertise in 4G/5G/6G systems and associated cellular standards, experience in a large matrixed organization, and interaction with senior leadership are highly valued. As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will leverage your knowledge and experience to research, design, and develop systems-level components while ensuring adherence to system requirements and standards. You will conduct functional analysis to drive requirements, define specifications, and align with hardware and software standards. Collaboration with internal and external teams is essential for project completion, feature implementation, and system verification. The level of responsibility associated with this position includes working independently with minimal supervision, making decisions that may impact beyond immediate work group, and utilizing communication skills for conveying information effectively. You will also be involved in driving triage of complex problems at the system level, presenting testing results to stakeholders, and contributing new and innovative ideas for product enhancement.
