Description
As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in researching, designing, developing, simulating, and validating systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions to drive the development of cutting-edge technology. You will collaborate across functional teams to ensure system-level requirements and standards are not only met but exceeded. **Key Responsibilities:** - Apply your Systems knowledge and experience to research, design, develop, simulate, and validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions while ensuring compliance with system-level requirements and standards. - Conduct functional analysis to drive requirements, define specifications, and align with standards for both hardware and software. - Develop and analyze system-level design, including requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and the implementation of new systems or modifications to existing systems. - Collaborate with your team and other teams to complete project work, including feature implementation, testing, and verification of system accuracy. - Generate new and innovative ideas for product or feature areas, such as IDFs. - Lead the triage of system-level problems to identify root causes and present testing and debugging results to team members. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience; OR Master's degree in the same fields with 1+ year of relevant experience; OR PhD in the specified fields. - Preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - Preferred: 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. - Preferred: 2+ years of experience in 4G/5G/6G systems and associated cellular standards (e.g., 3GPP NR, LTE, LTE, 3G). - Preferred: 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization. - Preferred: 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Staff level and above).
