The Design Lead (Primary) should also have detailed knowledge of Substation equipment and their Layouts. Furthermore, she / he should have the understanding of primary engineering activities covering SLD Preparation, Layout Engineering, Earthing, Cable Routing, Lighting, Lightning Protection, Cable Tray Routing etc. He should be capable of performing design & sizing calculations of Busbar, UPS, DG, LT Transformer, Earthing Conductor, calculations (Short circuit force, Sag tension, CCC etc.). The Design Lead (Primary) is required to have knowledge on National and International Codes and Standards. The Design Lead (Primary) is required to understand and interpret the contractual technical requirements and facilitate the Project Teams as and when required.
