As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Fillers & Cappers, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems for machinery used in high-speed packaging and bottling lines. Your primary goal will be to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of these systems. Your responsibilities will include designing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using tools like AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. You will also be involved in preparing Bills of Materials (BOM), overseeing control panel assembly, and managing field installations. Additionally, you will need to integrate and test Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo drives, and Motor Control Centers (MCCs). Ensuring compliance with standards like IEC, ISO, and CE, as well as implementing safety systems, will be crucial aspects of your role. You will be expected to troubleshoot electrical faults and provide support to automation and mechanical teams. Collaboration on PLC/HMI integration and vendor evaluation will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must have proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, as well as a strong understanding of 3-phase power, transformers, and switchgear. Expertise in VFDs, servo drives, and motor protection is essential, along with knowledge of industrial communication protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profinet. Additionally, familiarity with energy efficiency and load management concepts will be beneficial.
