Job Title : 4G/5G Testing Location : Mumbai Experience : 3-5 Years Notice Period : Immediate / 15 days Employee Type : Full time Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Smartphone Field Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our latest smartphone devices. Key Responsibilities : Field Testing : - Conduct comprehensive field testing of smartphones and smartwatches to evaluate performance, connectivity, and user experience under real-world conditions. - Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, call quality, data transfer speeds, and other critical functionalities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve field issues promptly. Log Analysis and Debugging : - Utilize advanced logging tools like QxDM, QCAT, Wireshark, STT, and ELT to analyze device logs and identify root causes of performance issues. - Debug complex technical problems and propose effective solutions. 3GPP Standards : - Possess a deep understanding of 3GPP specifications for 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Reporting and Documentation : - Prepare detailed test reports, summarizing test results, findings, and recommendations. - Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Team Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer support, to ensure timely resolution of field issues. - Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 3-5 years of experience in smartphone field testing. - Strong understanding of 3GPP specifications for 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies. - Hands-on experience with Android and iOS devices, including smartphones and smartwatches. - Proficiency in using log analysis tools like QxDM, QCAT, Wireshark, STT, and ELT. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Skills : - Experience with network optimization and performance tuning. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation. - Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
