You are a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Architect / Junior Interior Designer looking to join a dynamic design team in Mandaveli, Chennai. You will play a key role in assisting with the planning, design, and execution of various interior and architectural projects. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience to enhance their skills in a collaborative and creative setting. Your responsibilities will include developing design concepts, layouts, and presentations for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. You will work closely with senior architects and designers to assist with drafting, modeling, and visualizing concepts. Utilizing software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max, you will prepare 2D drawings and 3D models, as well as render photo-realistic visuals using V-Ray. Additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of mood boards, material boards, and design documentation, while coordinating with vendors, consultants, and contractors as necessary. Conducting site visits for measurement, inspection, and implementation support will also be part of your role, along with maintaining project documentation and presentation files. To excel in this position, you should hold a degree in B.Sc. Interior Design or B.Architecture, with 0 to 2 years of experience in architecture or interior design practice. Proficiency in software including AutoCAD for 2D drafting, SketchUp for 3D modeling, 3ds Max with V-Ray for rendering, and Adobe Photoshop for presentations and visual enhancements is required. A strong sense of aesthetics, color, and spatial planning, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. You should also demonstrate eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
