We have a vacancy for : Scanner cum CMM Inspector Job Role : Scanner cum CMM Inspector Work Location : MIDC, Bhosari, Pune, Maharashtra 411026 Education : Diploma/ITI in Mechanical / Tool & Die / Production Engineering(OR) B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production (preferred) Experience : Min 2 years & Max 5 years Preferred Experience: 2-5 years in a sheet metal, automotive, or toolroom environment. Working knowledge of fixture validation, and buyoff inspections. Industry : Press Tool & Sheet Metal Component Manufacturing Job Purpose: To ensure dimensional accuracy of sheet metal components by performing precise inspections using 3D Scanners and CMM machines and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Perform dimensional inspection of sheet metal components using 3D scanners and CMM machines. Generate and interpret scan reports, CMM reports, and inspection protocols. Understand and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Conduct first article inspection (FAI), in-process and final inspections. Identify and report dimensional deviations or non-conformities. Coordinate with design, production, and tooling departments for issue resolution. Maintain calibration and health of measuring equipment. Support process improvement by providing accurate inspection feedback. Key Skills & Competencies: Proficient in CMM operations and 3D scanning techniques. Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T. Hands-on experience with quality inspection software (e.g., GOM, PC-DMIS, Calypso). Basic understanding of ISO/IATF 16949 quality standards. Good analytical and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Other Requirement : 1. Aggressive Attitude. 2. Willing to stay near the plant location. 3. Medically fitness mandatory. 4.
