6+ Yrs Exp mechanical design engineer. Preferably from Fire products design. Experience: 6-10 Years Qualification: B. Tech/M. Tech Experience: 6-10 Years Qualification: B. Tech/M. Tech Must have atleast 6 yrs exp in Product design. Creating concepts, mechanisms, coordinating Prototypes. , FOT approvals, Production process awareness. Component Lifecycle management exposure Proficient in Injection molding design, Sheet metal designs and Castings Plastic material knowledge/selection criteria and application knowledge Good knowledge on Manufacturing process. Hands-on expertise in 3D modelling preferably Solidworks or Creo FEM simulation (atleast static) experience is preference, Good knowledge and practical experience in GD&T applications. Process knowledge of ECN/ECR and SAP PDM knowledge. Experience in Pneumatics and fluid dynamics is preferred. Very strong in first principles and fundamentals Mold and Tooling design knowledge is preferred Must have atleast 6 yrs exp in Product design. Responsibilities: 1. Lead the Mechanical Department to deliver projects according to schedule and quality standards. 2. Proficient in ASME codes and API / TEMA standards for static equipment such as Pressure vessels, Columns, Storage tanks, Exchangers. 3. Conduct design calculations and review Mechanical Data sheets/specifications. 4. Prepare Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and Purchase specifications. 5. Develop and oversee welding procedures specifications. 6. Review and approve vendor drawings, TPI reports, and coordinate with vendors and other disciplines. 7. Provide training and support to the team, collaborate with management, participate in vendor meetings, and address site queries as needed. 8. Hands-on experience with PV-Elite, Ansys, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), 3D model review software, and AutoCAD. Additional Skills: 1. Strong leadership and team management abilities. 2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients. 3. Role & Responsibilities: Review and prepare Loop Diagrams and Overall System Interconnection Diagrams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. Review and prepare Junction Box Wiring Diagrams and MCT Arrangement Drawings. Review and prepare instrument and Junction Box (JB) schedules, as well as Cable schedules. Review and prepare Instrument and Junction Box Layouts, including Cable Tray and Tube Tray Layouts. Review and prepare Fire & Gas, Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire & Safety Device (FSD), and Fusible Plug Layouts. Review and prepare Instrument Installation and Hook-up Diagrams. Prepare Instrument Bulk Material Take-Off (BMTO) documentation. Review vendor documents related to Integrated Control & Safety System (ICSS), ESD, Fire & Gas (F&G), and field devices to ensure compliance with project requirements. Collaborate closely with Engineers and Designers across disciplines to ensure instrumentation selection, installation, and configuration meet operational and accuracy standards. Ensure instrumentation design aligns with well head automation systems and industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with proven expertise in instrumentation design specifically for Well Head Automation. Strong knowledge of international instrumentation codes and standards. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and liaise with vendors and clients.
