3D Modeler Fresher

You are seeking fresh Diploma or ITI graduates in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to join as a 3D Modeler in a full-time, office-based role in Surat. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in creating 3D models, 2D layouts, and technical drawings for substations, switchyards, solar power plants, and industrial projects. Additionally, you may need to visit project sites across India for layout verification, measurements, and drawing clarifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity for entry-level engineers who are enthusiastic about enhancing their skills in electrical infrastructure design and CAD software tools. Your key responsibilities will include creating and modifying 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, preparing general arrangement (GA) drawings, updating equipment layouts, cable trenching, and panel drawings. You will also support engineers in compiling as-built drawings, BOMs, and layout revisions, as well as participate in software training sessions for AutoCAD and Revit. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of AutoCAD 2D/3D, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and a willingness to learn substation/switchyard design principles. Effective communication, coordination skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential. Occasional travel to project sites is required, and exposure to Revit, SolidWorks, or BIM software is advantageous. An internship or academic project experience in electrical/mechanical drafting is desirable. Qualifications for this position include a Diploma or ITI in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Freshers with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply, with a commitment to learning and growing in technical design and CAD modeling.
