3D Designer (Product Design for 3D Printing)

Tapify is a fast-growing startup offering NFC-based Review Standees, Business Cards, Keyrings, and custom branding products. We serve customers across India and pride ourselves on smooth communication and fast support.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled 3D Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 0–1 year of experience (freshers with strong practical skills are welcome) and should be able to create 3D designs from scratch that are ready for 3D printing.

This role is focused on product design, not animation or gaming. The candidate will work on designing real, physical products that will be manufactured using our in-house 3D printer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models from scratch for physical products such as standees, keyrings, trophies, bases, logos, and custom shapes.
• Design models keeping 3D printing constraints in mind (strength, thickness, overhangs, supports).
• Modify and improve designs based on print results and feedback.
• Prepare print-ready files (STL / 3MF).
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs print correctly.
• Maintain proper design files and versions.
• Assist in developing new product concepts and design ideas.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in 3D design software such as:
• Fusion 360 (preferred)
• SolidWorks (acceptable)
• Blender (only if used for product design, not animation)
• Basic understanding of 3D printing (PLA, PLA-Silk, supports, tolerances).
• Ability to create designs with accurate dimensions.
• Knowledge of exporting and fixing STL / 3MF files.
• Willingness to learn and improve based on real print outcomes.

Experience Requirement:

• 0–1 year of experience in 3D design / product design / industrial design
• Freshers with strong practical knowledge are welcome

Education Qualification:

• Diploma / Graduation in Design, Engineering, Architecture, or any relevant field
• Practical skills will be preferred over formal education

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
