3D Artist

Job summary:

3D Freelance Artists should work in a variety of areas such as 3D modelling, texturing, rendering environments, compositing, lighting, UV wrapping and dynamics to create exciting and innovative experiences in 3D. The ability to work within and across large, interdependent teams is a must, should have an implicit understanding of the balance needed between artistry, communication, and partnership. The candidate will be accomplished in working with a variety of 2D and 3D software packages and demonstrate the ability to raise the quality bar in 3D product visualization. Must be able to build a near-perfect model from just a single or small set of photographs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create photo-realistic 3D model with superior build quality and look & feel
• Paint 3D assets and materials to use in web-based and real-time applications
• Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity

Basic qualifications:

• 3+ years of Professional experience working in a fast-paced 3D production environment
• Must demonstrate an understanding of technical art production and end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and rendering
• Fast turnaround on complex hard-surface and organic modeling is a must
• Highly proficient in rendering and retouching 3D renders to accentuate photo-realism
• Proficiency in Blender, Adobe Photoshop and with highly proficient in ZBrush, Substance Painter and other relevant software

o Technical knowledge and skill:

• Ability to define and break-down 3D production pipeline process
• Ability to exhibit thorough knowledge on 3D model, look and feel development
• Ability to scrutinize 3D model under different conditions

o Aesthetics and visualization Skill:

• Ability to visualize and interpret 2D shape to 3D forms.
• Ability to validate space, perspective and proportion
• Ability to conceive color, texture, patterns, lighting condition and relate material attributes with 3D software workflow
• Ability to perceive live photographs and apprehend photo-realistic images

o Communication Skill:

• Ability to understand and communicate using 3D terminologies
• Ability to analyse, articulate and write a critique on 3D creations
• Ability to collaborate, discuss the visual interpretations and perception

Interview process:

• The candidate will have to go through a technical assessment
• Candidates clearing technical assessment will have a telephonic interview with Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Night shift
