Description
As a 3D Artist at micro1, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing 3D assets for factory layouts, equipment, and immersive environments. Your role will involve converting CAD/BIM files into USD/OpenUSD formats, designing 3D assets using tools like Blender, Maya, and 3ds Max, and collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality assets. Your expertise in texture optimization, lighting, and rendering techniques will be crucial in preparing models for real-time rendering, VR/AR environments, and physics simulations. Key Responsibilities: - Convert CAD/BIM files (Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) into USD/OpenUSD formats. - Design and develop 3D assets using Blender, Maya, and 3ds Max. - Optimize textures, materials, and lighting for visual quality and performance. - Prepare models for real-time rendering, VR/AR environments, and physics simulations. - Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver accurate, high-quality assets. - Ensure models are Omniverse-ready and meet project performance standards. Required Skills & Expertise: - Proficiency in CAD/BIM conversion (Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD). - Strong knowledge of 3D modeling tools (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max). - Experience with USD/OpenUSD workflows. - Expertise in texture optimization, lighting, and rendering techniques. - Familiarity with VR/AR asset readiness and immersive design principles. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with real-time rendering engines (Unreal Engine, Unity). - Understanding of physics simulations and factory visualization. - Strong attention to detail with a balance between aesthetics and efficiency.,
