As a QA Test Lead, you will leverage your 6+ years of experience, including 2 to 3+ years in a Test Lead role and 3+ years of hands-on experience with test automation tools and framework development. Your primary focus will be on ensuring quality is not just a phase but a fundamental aspect of software development. You will play a crucial role in setting test standards, supporting engineers, and fostering a culture where quality is a shared responsibility. Your responsibilities will encompass defining and maintaining test quality standards across engineering squads, overseeing Automation QAs/SDeTs and manual testers, and crafting high-quality integration and end-to-end tests. Collaboration with engineers, product managers, and delivery leads will be essential to embed quality practices from the outset and design comprehensive test strategies that encompass automation, exploratory testing, and regression coverage. You will drive the development and enhancement of automated testing frameworks, ensuring seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will take ownership of test suite structure and health, guide squads in various testing aspects, and facilitate BDD and 3-amigos sessions to enhance clarity in requirements. Your strong background in quality assurance, proficiency in test automation frameworks like Cypress and Playwright, and experience with API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured will be instrumental in your role. You should be adept at writing automated tests in Typescript, organizing performance testing, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and fostering BDD-style collaboration.
