Job Title: Construction Manager Substation Projects Interview Location: Chennai Work Location : Saudi Experience: 12- 18 Years Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the end-to-end construction of high-voltage substations (AIS/GIS) including electrical works. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and planning teams for seamless execution. Supervise installation of transformers, switchgear, control panels, busbars, cable trays, and earthing systems. Ensure strict adherence to project timelines, budgets, safety protocols, and quality standards. Manage and monitor site construction activities, subcontractor performance, and daily/weekly progress. Review construction drawings and documents, and resolve technical/site issues in coordination with design/engineering teams. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE policies and QA/QC requirements. Prepare construction progress reports, risk logs, and productivity metrics for internal and client reporting. Liaise with client representatives, statutory bodies, and other stakeholders as required. Technical Expertise Required: Experience in executing AIS/GIS substation projects (380kV or higher). Familiarity with IEC/IS standards and electrical system construction practices. Skilled in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera), and site documentation.
