This role is for someone who can: Architect the technology roadmap from a blank page Ship production-quality code when the stakes are high Lead cross-functional execution from idea to launch Make the hard calls on build vs buy vs partner decisions Balance speed, scalability, and ROI What You’ll Own 1. Technology Vision & Roadmap Align tech priorities with business strategy Translate high-level goals into executable engineering initiatives Set clear short- and long-term milestones 2. Hands-On Development Code and review critical projects yourself Keep platforms stable, fast, and cost-efficient Optimize site performance, CMS, internal tools, ERP, CRM integrations 3. Cross-Functional Execution Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, design, and product Oversee external vendors where relevant Implement effective tech project management practices 4. Team Leadership Build and mentor a high-performing engineering and product team Foster a culture of ownership and smart, independent decision-making 5.
