Job Description

Description We are seeking an experienced Welding Inspector to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in welding inspection, ensuring that all welding work meets the required quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of welding work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Review and interpret welding documents, blueprints, and technical drawings. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) to evaluate weld quality and integrity. Identify and report any defects or non-conformance issues in welding processes. Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports. Collaborate with welding teams to provide guidance and training on best practices and standards. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during inspection processes. Skills and Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in welding inspection or a related field. Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO) and codes. Experience with non-destructive testing methods (e.g., ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle). Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
