Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant to join our Foundry Division. The ideal candidate will support the QA team in ensuring the quality of steel castings and coordinate with the in-house laboratory for metallurgical testing and analysis. This role requires both field and documentation responsibilities, working closely with production, inspection, and lab teams. Roles & Responsibilities: Support the QA team in maintaining documentation of inspection and testing reports. Coordinate with the lab team for chemical, mechanical, and microstructure testing. Ensure casting samples are properly identified, tagged, and tested as per standards. Record and report non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis. Assist in preparing quality reports for internal reviews and customer requirements. Follow quality standards, SOPs, and ensure adherence to ISO systems. Preferred Candidate Profile: Diploma / B.E in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Foundry Technology 13 years of experience in quality assurance in a foundry environment Familiarity with casting inspection methods and metallurgical lab testing Ability to work with measuring instruments and basic lab equipment Understanding of quality systems, standards, and documentation practices Good coordination, communication, and teamwork skills

Dimensional Inspector (Steel casting foundry) sulur 2 - 7 years INR 1.75 - 3.75 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Roles & Responsibilities: Inspect rough cast components using precision instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, templates, and gauges. Verify dimensional accuracy and visual quality of incoming castings as per drawing and customer requirements. Interpret and analyze 2D engineering drawings and ensure GD&T compliance. Document inspection results, deviation reports, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports). Coordinate with production and suppliers for clarification and resolution of quality concerns. Ensure quality systems and inspection procedures are strictly followed. Provide feedback to the foundry regarding repeated dimensional issues or trends. Preferred Candidate Profile: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Foundry Technology Minimum 5 years experience in dimensional inspection of rough castings (preferably in steel casting industry) Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T Good reporting and communication skills Basic computer skills (MS Excel, QC documentation)
