2D Spine Animator

As a 2D Spine Animator at Gamix Labs, you will play a crucial role in creating rich graphics games by utilizing your expertise in 2D spine animation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create computer-generated animation of symbols, effects, UI, and characters using Spine & After Effects. - Demonstrate advanced understanding of animation principles such as timing, staging, anticipation, squash and stretch. - Focus on human, animals, creatures, and mechanical movement in animations. - Collaborate with the Art Director and 2D Artists to finalize animations for each project. - Provide artwork for review at appropriate stages and incorporate feedback with quick turnaround. - Prepare data for in-game implementation, ensuring alignment with production requirements in collaboration with the Software team. - Modify game art under tight deadlines. **Qualifications Required:** - Understanding of a broad range of game types, products, and platforms. - Ability to complete complex data setup of game art parts and use new techniques with some support. - Familiarity with the development process for game art and the ability to identify/process improvements. - Align game art creation with functional specifications and graphic proposals, including conceptual art and storyboards. - Create animations that visually reinforce game rules and flow. - Proficiency in storytelling using pose and composition to create clear, definable moments. - Strong understanding of concept art, including illustration and design. - Working knowledge of Adobe applications such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Brashmonkey Spriter is a plus.
