2D Animator

Job Summary:

Social Watch is a creative agency helping Businesses to Build Brands. We offer Social Media Management & Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Media Buying, PR, and Creative Design. SocialWatch is a leading creative, media, and technology-driven digital marketing agency in India. Specialised in brand strategy and marketing, we do innovative storytelling to increase brand awareness & reach of each business & their products. We manage them all through a 360-degree marketing approach with PR.

Currently we are looking for a talented and creative 2D Animator with 1–3 years of experience to join our design and production team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of 2D animation principles, storytelling, and motion graphics to create visually appealing animations for various projects, including advertisements, explainer videos, social media content, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging 2D animations for videos, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
• Design storyboards and animatics based on scripts and concepts.
• Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and video editors to produce high-quality animated content.
• Ensure animations are consistent with the brand’s style guidelines.
• Work with voice-over artists and sound designers to sync audio with animation.
• Optimize animations for different platforms (social media, web, mobile).
• Stay updated with the latest animation tools, trends, and techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–3 years in 2D animation, preferably in a creative agency, studio, or production house.
• Strong knowledge of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, etc.).
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as:
• Adobe Animate (Flash)
• After Effects
• Illustrator & Photoshop
• Basic knowledge of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to illustrate characters, backgrounds, and assets when needed.
• Good understanding of motion graphics and typography animation.
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in character rigging and puppet animation.
• Knowledge of frame-by-frame animation.
• Familiarity with 3D basics is an added advantage.
• Prior experience with social media content creation.
