2D Animator - Intern

Role Overview: As a 2D Animator Intern, you will work closely with animators, illustrators, and directors to bring characters to life through frame-by-frame animation. The focus will be on expressions, body language, and acting rather than simple loops or cycles. You will have the opportunity to learn industry workflows while contributing to real production episodes. Key Responsibilities: - Animate characters in frame-by-frame 2D with a strong emotional range. - Handle facial expressions (anger, fear, joy, guilt, etc.) with subtlety. - Create full-body acting shots, emphasizing realistic movements. - Collaborate with illustrators and directors to maintain visual consistency. - Receive mentorship while working on episodic storytelling projects. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Adobe Animate is mandatory. - Familiarity with frame-by-frame 2D animation techniques. - Ability to animate in a three-quarter view. - Comfortable animating expressions and acting shots. - Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow quickly in a production setting. - Freshers are welcome; passion and dedication are valued more than experience. Good to Have (Bonus Points): - Knowledge of After Effects for aura/lighting effects. - Strong sketching or storyboard skills. - Passion for mythology and cinematic storytelling.
