2D Animator and Illustrator

As a 2D Animator and Illustrator for Educational & Interactive Media at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, your role will involve designing and animating engaging visual content to support interactive and educational modules. You will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D assets, including character illustrations, backgrounds, props, and UI elements, to enhance the visual appeal of learning scenarios. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with storyboarding artists, instructional designers, and Unity developers to integrate visual elements into Virtual Skill Lab (VSL) modules and other digital learning platforms. - Develop frame-by-frame animations, motion graphics, and rigged character animations aligned with real-world skill training. - Maintain a balance between creative flair and practical application to enhance learner engagement and clarity. - Ensure attention to detail, consistency in style, and adherence to visual design standards. - Organize asset libraries, incorporate feedback, and adapt animations as project needs evolve. - Demonstrate proficiency in animation principles, character movement, and timing using tools like Adobe Animate, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Utilize familiarity with Unity and asset integration processes for enhanced efficiency. - Prior experience in eLearning or educational animation is advantageous.
