2D and 3D Animator

As a 2D & 3D Animator, your role will involve creating high-quality animations for various purposes such as videos, explainers, social media, and digital campaigns. You will collaborate with scriptwriters and creative directors to bring ideas to life through engaging visual stories. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing characters, scenes, and transitions that reflect political or social themes while ensuring cultural relevance and message alignment. Your expertise in animation tools, storytelling, and visualization will play a crucial role in adapting visual styles based on the project type, from satire to educational to emotional narratives. Key Responsibilities: - Create high-quality 2D and 3D animations for videos, explainers, social media, and digital campaigns - Collaborate with scriptwriters and creative directors to transform ideas into animated stories - Design characters, scenes, and transitions aligned with political or social themes - Manage end-to-end animation production, from storyboarding to final rendering - Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, typography, and audio as necessary - Ensure animations are culturally relevant, sensitive, and in line with the message - Adjust visual style based on project requirements, ranging from satire to educational to emotional narratives Must-Have Skills: 2D Animation Tools: - Adobe After Effects - Adobe Animate / Flash - Toon Boom Harmony - Photoshop (for frame-by-frame animation) 3D Animation Tools: - Autodesk Maya / 3ds Max - Blender - Cinema 4D (optional) - Experience with rigging, lighting, and rendering Other Skills: - Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, squash and stretch, anticipation, etc.) - Proficiency in storyboarding and visual storytelling - Knowledge of rendering pipelines and file optimization - Basic compositing and VFX skills (preferred) - Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Preferred (but not mandatory): - Experience in working with political or social issue-based content - Background in media, news, or campaign design - Familiarity with the Indian political landscape (regional + national) - Ability to animate in regional languages (e.g., Tamil) is a plus Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Design, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a professional animation role - Strong portfolio/demo reel is required,
