Role & responsibilities: Lead the primary engineering design for high-voltage (HV) and extra-high voltage (EHV) substations (e.g., 220kV, 400kV, 765kV). Prepare and review layouts, general arrangement (GA) drawings, equipment sizing, grounding and earthing, and cable routing. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including protection, civil, and project management teams to ensure design integration. Review client technical specifications and ensure alignment with applicable standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, IS).
