Role & responsibilities: Lead the primary engineering design for high-voltage (HV) and extra-high voltage (EHV) substations (e.g., 220kV, 400kV, 765kV). Prepare and review layouts, general arrangement (GA) drawings, equipment sizing, grounding and earthing, and cable routing. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including protection, civil, and project management teams to ensure design integration. Review client technical specifications and ensure alignment with applicable standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, IS). Support procurement by preparing technical specifications for equipment and participating in technical bid evaluations. Liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders for design approvals and issue resolution. Maintaining a strong understanding of relevant standards, regulations and industry best practices. Preferred candidate profile The candidate should be having experience of detailed substation design engineering of minimum 220 KVA.
