PT HIL Systems & HW Engineer- Developer Stellantis Propulsion organization is seeking a PT HIL Systems and HW Engineer on the Virtual Engineering team to work on Hardware-In-the-Loop systems. The candidate must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in development of HIL systems (dSPACE, ETAS, NI etc.) with thorough knowledge of HIL simulator hardware, ECU electrical interface definition and harness development. He/ She will be the primary interface between xIL development team and external teams for xIL requirement analysis and impact analysis. In this position, the candidate shall interface with cross-functional team of ECU Hardware, Systems, SW, Controls, Plant Modeling and Calibration engineers to rapidly resolve xIL simulation environment and/or integration issues, triage, troubleshooting during commissioning of xIL test properties. The candidate must be a strong team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience and expertise (Powertrain, EE, electric and hybrid systems). The engineer must be willing to work in fast-paced environment. The engineer will be working with global teams (NA, EMEA, APAC and LATAM). Other responsibilities include conducting benchmarks, evaluating new HIL technologies, working with teams on process, methodology and tools. Roles and Responsibilities Powertrain(ICE/ePT) or Vehicle HIL HW Simulator Commissioning Wiring Design for HiL Bench Harness Fabrication for HiL Bench Identifying the objectives of HiL Test Benches Feasibility study for Loadbox,power and communication channels Open Loop and Close Loop Commissioning Beep Test before commissioning HIL Hardware Selection/Upgrade Identifying the changes occurred for vehicle loop changes, and upgrade the design documents and test bench design HIL Hardware Verification Position Requirements Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related degree from an accredited university Minimum of 3 years of professional engineering experience in electrical/electronics, hardware, software or controls Knowledge and experience with Powertrain, EE, electric and hybrid Systems Demonstrated Hardware- In-the-Loop systems experience (dSPACE, NI HIL systems) Experience with HIL Bench commissioning, Wiring and HW document preparation Experience in diagnostic managementCANalyzer, CANoe Knowledge of Simulation Tool (e.g. CarMaker, ASM) Experience with UDS, XCP protocol Familiarity using trace capture tools, data acquisition and analysis tools such as ETAS - INCA Experience with HIL testing, vehicle integration and validation Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to speak with individuals at all levels in the organization Experience working cross-functionally Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1.
