AECOM is seeking a Principal Engineer - Water Infrastructure based inBengaluru & Gurgaon, India. Candidates will be responsible for the following activities: Contribute to engineering design assignments in a team environment on large-scale project teams. 10+ Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably UK, USA, Canada & ANZ region ) Having good hands-on experience with design tools like Civil 3D, MicroStation, Open Roads is must. Knowledge on tools like E-Survey, 12D, Having hands on experience with modeling tools like Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, GeoPak would be advantage. Wet Utilities - Potable Water, Storm Water Drainage, Treated Sewage Effluent & Sewerage network (pressure plus gravity design experience with the help of AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Civil3D) Provide technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, standard drawings etc. Clash Analysis experience using Navisworks Experience in working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise and BIM 360) Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Office, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. d planning on various projects. Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge in projects from concept to completion. Participate in the development of concept, preliminary and detailed engineering drawing, and plans, including general and drainage plan drawings, plan/profile drawings, section drawings, and detail drawings. Complete design activities to specified standards including earthworks modelling and design, sanitary and storm sewer design, watermain design, grading of roads and drive isles, lot grading, and stormwater management design of ponds and other retention systems. Assist in establishing processes for working with US/Canada offices; Other duties as assigned Qualifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK). Highly motivated, hardworking, interpersonal, and enthusiastic team player that is willing to learn and adapt to change. US/UK/Canada Experience will be added advantage Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times. Able to see the bigger picture and take a birds-eye view of projects Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Key Role Responsibilities Responsibilities and duties of the role incumbent include, but are not limited to: Undertake minor and complex multidisciplinary engineering projects with the guidance of project managers. • Hydraulic modelling using TUFLOW or another similar software package. • Produce documentation detailing the assumptions, methodology, results and conclusions of the works undertaken. This includes producing flood maps in QGIS or ArcPro. • Be able to investigate and understand city/regions management methodology and adopt parameters for modelling accordingly. • Reviewing design drawings to ensure the information related to proposed infrastructure is correct. We're looking for people who have To be successful in this position you will be a highly motivated professional with advanced interpersonal skills and be a team player, along with: Bachelors degree of either Civil or Environmental Engineering, Masters preferred. • Experience in software in TUFLOW, QGIS and ArcGIS. DHI Mike and HEC RAS 2D exposure will also be looked favourably. • Experience in utilising various guidelines such as QUDM, Austroads, TMR specifications, Australian Rainfall and Runoff 2019 will be highly prefrerred, or alternately should be able to learn and adopt. • Experience in 12d desired but not essential. • Experience in other specialist software which is water related and exposure to international hydrological and hydraulic modelling projects is preferred. • A commitment to undertake continuing professional development (CPD).'
