Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager – North / South India Location: Pithampur (Head Office), with regular travel to metro cities Department: Sales & Business Development Reports to: Director – Sales & Strategy Experience: Minimum 10 years in B2B/B2C sales and team leadership Employment Type: Full-time About Alankaram Alankaram is a premium Indian furniture brand recognized for its design innovation, sustainability, and craftsmanship. With a strong presence in residential and commercial furniture markets, we cater to leading architects, corporates, and hospitality brands across India and abroad. Role Overview We are looking for a result-oriented and highly motivated Zonal Sales Manager to oversee sales operations across the North and South zones of India . The role involves managing regional Business Development Managers (BDMs), driving city-specific targets, ensuring client satisfaction, and expanding Alankaram’s brand presence in these territories. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy Drive revenue growth across North & South zones by overseeing city-specific BDM performance. Develop regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives. Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual targets across cities and verticals (residential, hospitality, real estate, corporate). Team Management Lead, mentor, and evaluate performance of BDMs located in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and other key cities. Support recruitment, training, and goal-setting for regional sales teams. Foster cross-functional coordination between sales, marketing, and design teams. Market Coverage & Travel Conduct regular travel to metro cities for showroom reviews, project meetings, client interactions, and team oversight. Stay connected to regional market trends, competitor activity, and client expectations. Client & Partner Engagement Strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, real estate developers, and institutional buyers. Assist in finalizing high-value B2B deals and long-term partnerships. Represent the brand in trade shows, exhibitions, and partner events. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design Management or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B/B2C sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in luxury, lifestyle, furniture, or interiors domain preferred. Strong analytical and team management skills. Willingness to travel extensively (12–15 days/month) . Proficient in CRM tools, Excel, and reporting dashboards.
