This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution of shutdown operations. The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years of relevant field experience , strong technical know-how, and proven leadership in managing shutdowns in high-pressure environments like refineries or petrochemical plants. What You’ll Do Coordinate day-to-day shutdown operations in your designated plant area Oversee mechanical jobs including static and rotating equipment maintenance Ensure availability of materials, manpower, and tools for planned activities Collaborate with planning, safety, and execution teams to meet deadlines Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety culture Ensure work compliance with client specifications and company HSE standards Monitor progress and address bottlenecks or resource constraints proactively Supervise technicians and contractors and provide hands-on support as needed Maintain daily reports, updates, and escalation of any critical issues Uphold strict adherence to permit-to-work and isolation procedures What We’re Looking ForMust-Have Qualifications Education: Diploma / Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 8–10 years in oil & gas or refinery shutdown projects Technical: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, safety standards, shutdown planning, and execution Candidate should have gulf experience Preferred Skills Familiarity with piping, static & rotating equipment Understanding of JSA, risk assessments, and safety audits Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams Excellent communication and coordination skills Strong problem-solving mindset under tight deadlines Nice to Have (Bonus): Certifications like NEBOSH, OSHA, PTW Training, or Lifting/Rigging Safety Prior experience with shutdown planning tools or digital reporting tools Also there are Requirement for this Open Positions and Requirements: Unit In-Charges : B.E.
