About the job: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer who can bring fresh ideas, patterns, and innovations to our collections. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fabrics, prints, and streetwear culture, while balancing creativity with commercial appeal. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop original textile patterns, prints, and textures aligned with ZICA BELLA's brand aesthetics. 2. Research global fashion & streetwear trends and translate them into designs. 3. Create design boards, color palettes, and digital repeats. 4. Work with fashion designers and the product development team to ensure fabric compatibility. 5. Prepare technical drawings, print placements, and repeat files for production. 6. Ensure designs are production-ready, cost-efficient, and scalable. 7. Explore sustainable and innovative textile solutions. Skills: 1. Technical Skills 2. Design Software Proficiency 3. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign 4. CorelDRAW 5. CAD for textiles (NedGraphics, Textronics, CLO 3D, Optitex) 6. Textile Techniques Knowledge 7. Weaving, knitting, embroidery, dyeing, printing (screen, block, digital, heat transfer). 8. Fabric finishes & treatments. 9. Color Theory & Fabric Knowledge 10. Understanding of fibers, yarns, and blends. 11. Strong sense of color, texture, and patterns. 12. Trend Research & Forecasting 13. Ability to research global fashion trends, WGSN/Mood boards. 14. Translating trends into textile patterns. 15. Technical Drawing & Specifications 16. Preparing tech packs, repeats, and specifications for production.
