Your tasks Expertise in Windchill Configuration Management. will have a strong background in product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, particularly Windchill; Will be responsible for managing and maintaining the configuration and change management processes; Ensure all configuration changes are documented and tracked in Windchill. Your Tasks Implement configuration or customization changes as defined by technical architect for the Windchill system: visual workflow design, lifecycle (business process modeling), access (and security) controls, soft types, views, load files, resource bundles, and utility scripting. Provide technical impact analysis of the solutions on the Windchill system, supporting infrastructure, client systems, future upgrades, future functional requirements, interfaces and downstream systems. Preparing and managing changes for configuration management and deployment. This includes appropriate code management, related documentation, quality implementation solutions & technical documentation, updating of progress on assigned tasks, and adding changes to version control. Testing and troubleshooting (debug) customizations, workflows, lifecycles, access controls, and object initialization rules. Perform where appropriate defect testing, data set testing, unit testing, load testing, system testing, integration testing. Reviews log files. Prepare for User Acceptance Testing. Participates in the functional review sessions to clearly identify defect(s) or non-compliance to requirements.
