Job Purpose: The role exists to expand ZestMoney’s merchant and partner ecosystem by acquiring and nurturing high-value partnerships that drive sustainable revenue growth. The Business Development Manager/Senior Manager will act as the bridge between ZestMoney and external stakeholders, shaping commercial opportunities, building strategic relationships, and ensuring seamless execution with internal teams. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Merchant Acquisition & Partnerships : Identify, pitch, and onboard leading enterprises, D2C brands, offline retailers & PA/PGs into the ZestMoney ecosystem. Revenue Growth : Drive adoption of ZestMoney solutions across partner networks, delivering measurable impact on sales and profitability. Integration Enablement : Work with partners and internal teams to ensure smooth technical and operational integration—including effort required to implement and optimize merchant PDP widgets and other on-site assets. Relationship Management : Build long-term, trusted relationships with key decision-makers; act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts. Commercial Negotiations : Lead discussions around commercials, integration models, subvention agreements and joint go-to-market initiatives. Market & Competitive Insights : Track industry trends, competitor moves, and customer behavior to shape partnership strategy. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with product, tech, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless onboarding, activation, and partner success. Performance Accountability : Consistently meet and exceed defined targets across acquisition, activation, and revenue KPIs. Qualifications Minimum Qualification required: Bachelors Degree in any field Qualifications preferred: Business Degree would be a “good to have” Work Experience 5–7 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or partnerships (preferably in fintech, payments, SaaS, or e-commerce). Demonstrated success in closing high-value partnerships and delivering revenue impact. Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
