Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day Transport operations across multiple locations in chennai Manage and coordinate blue-collar workforce including drivers, loaders, and warehouse staff Monitor vehicle maintenance, routing, fuel usage, and compliance with RTO/regulatory norms Ensure operational efficiency and cost control across all touch points Recruit, train, and retain ground staff and drivers Address and resolve transportation-related issues,emergencies, or complaints Maintain accurate transportation records, logs, and necessary documentation. Requirements: Proven experience in Transport and handling blue-collar teams (minimum 4 years) Strong familiarity with chennai geography, routes. Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-heavy environment Fluent in Tamil and basic English Preferred Backgrounds: University /college / school in-house fleet Tourism or manpower outsourcing firms Logistics companies
