Key Responsibilities Die Handling & Maintenance Daily Select, set, and provide drawing dies as per production requirements. Inspect dies for wear, polish, and maintain them to ensure quality output. Align dies correctly to avoid wire breakage and defects. Keep Die ready in advance for next production. Machine Operation Ensure continuous production with minimal downtime. Quality Control Measure Die diameter, finishing of die, and concentricity using precision instruments. Correct die defects like scratches, cracks, or roughness. Ensure the Die requirement in alignment with production meets customer and internal quality standards. Troubleshooting & Process Monitoring Detect and resolve operational issues like Die not ready , Die Size,wire breakage, and uneven drawing failures. Report any abnormalities in die to the Production Incharge. Maintain Die Record, production records, downtime logs, and daily Die output reports. Safety & Housekeeping Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE. Keep machines, tools, and the working area clean and safe. Adhere to company’s safety and 5S standards. Qualifications & Experience Education: ITI , Fitter, or related trade preferred. Experience: Minimum 2–5 years in wire drawing operations (steel/copper/aluminum). Freshers with ITI can be considered as Trainees. Key Skills Knowledge of wire drawing process and die maintenance . Hands-on experience with micrometer, vernier, and gauges . Safety-conscious and disciplined. Behavioral Competencies Quality and detail orientation. Teamwork and coordination. Flexibility to work in shifts . Reliability and consistency in work.
