Key Responsibilities:Category Management: Own the full category lifecycle, from assortment planning to performance tracking. Manage product selection, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize sales and profitability within the category.Terms of Trade (TOT) Management: Develop and negotiate TOT agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and suppliers. Monitor the execution of these terms, including discounts, rebates, and payment schedules.Joint Business Planning (JBP): Lead the JBP process with key suppliers to align on mutual goals, share insights, and drive long-term category growth. Collaborate with vendors to create innovative and customer-centric campaigns.Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with suppliers, identifying growth opportunities, resolving issues, and fostering collaboration to achieve common business objectives.Category Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor performance to make data-driven decisions on category growth and adjustments. Use insights to optimize inventory levels and reduce out-of-stock situations.Promotions & Campaigns: Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and achieving a high ROI on campaigns.Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the introduction and removal of products in the category, ensuring timely launches, clear communication with suppliers, and a seamless customer experience.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams in supply chain, logistics, and customer service to ensure smooth operations and fulfill customer demand efficiently.Budget & P&L Management: Monitor and manage the categorys budget, tracking performance against financial targets, and adjusting strategies to meet objectives.
