Overview The Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the packing operations to ensure products are packed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. This role supervises a team of packers, monitors inventory, and collaborates with other departments to meet production goals and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily packing operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures. Train and mentor packing staff on equipment usage, safety protocols, and quality guidelines. Monitor and maintain inventory of packaging materials, requisition supplies as needed, and ensure materials are available for uninterrupted production. Collaborate with production, quality assurance, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries. Inspect products and packaging to verify conformance to specifications and identify any defects or issues. Implement and enforce safety standards and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Analyze packing productivity and process efficiency metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Handle and resolve packing-related issues, customer complaints, or internal escalations in a timely manner. Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all packing activities. Maintain all required documentation and prepare reports related to packing operations and performance.
